Chantel’s foundation series, Rebecca, aims to provide support for families dealing with childhood cancer.
They’re asking for support from the general public via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
The campaign is launching Monday with the launch of the “Chantel” campaign.
The foundation has raised $7 million for Rebecca’s cancer-related research, according to the foundation.
In March, Rebecca announced plans to spend $100 million on a new research institute to study how a vaccine might treat childhood cancers.
In April, the foundation announced a $50 million fund to support research on how to develop a cure for childhood cancers and other illnesses.
Chantell’s latest announcement is in the midst of an election year that has seen a surge in political fundraising, with candidates and political action committees raising $1 billion in total donations in 2017.
